Refund Policy

At Mastery Tutoring, we stand behind the quality of our instruction. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be issued for tutoring services purchased through our website or directly.

1. Single Session Refunds

If you cancel a single session with at least 24 hours' notice, you are entitled to a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost. For late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) or no-shows, refunds are not provided except in documented emergency situations at our discretion.

2. Package Refunds

Unused sessions from a package may be refunded on a pro‑rata basis, calculated as follows: the total package price minus the standard single‑session rate for each session already used. For example, if you purchased a 5‑session package for $300 and used 2 sessions, your refund would be $300 – (2 × $65) = $170. Refund requests for packages must be made within 90 days of purchase. After 90 days, any remaining sessions are non‑refundable but may still be used for up to one year from the purchase date.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us by phone at (512) 827-4590 or by email at [email protected] with your name, the session or package details, and the reason for your request. We may ask for additional information to process your request.

4. Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days and credited to the original payment method. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated.

5. Non‑Refundable Items

The following are non‑refundable:

  • Sessions already completed
  • Free consultation sessions (no charge applies)
  • Promotional or bonus sessions provided at no cost
  • Any session or package purchased more than 90 days prior to the refund request

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

If after your first paid session you are not completely satisfied, contact us within 48 hours of that session and we will either reassign you to a different tutor at no extra charge or issue a full refund for that session.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients.
