Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules change. This Cancellation Policy explains our requirements and any charges associated with canceling or rescheduling tutoring sessions with Mastery Tutoring.

1. Cancellation Notice

You may cancel or reschedule a session without charge by notifying us at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Notice can be given by phone at (512) 827-4590, by email at [email protected], or through the contact form on our website.

2. Late Cancellations

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are considered late cancellations. For single sessions, a late cancellation will result in forfeiture of that session and full charge. For package holders, the session will be deducted from your remaining balance.

3. No-Shows

If a student does not attend a scheduled session and no prior notice is given, it is considered a no-show. No-show sessions are treated the same as late cancellations: the full session fee applies and, for package holders, one session is deducted from the package.

4. Exceptions

We understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances arise. In cases of illness, family emergency, or severe weather, please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with you to reschedule without penalty on a case-by-case basis. Documentation may be requested.

5. Tutor Cancellations

If your tutor needs to cancel a session, we will notify you as soon as possible. You will have the option to reschedule with the same tutor or a qualified substitute at your convenience. No charge will apply for tutor-canceled sessions, and pre-paid sessions will not be deducted.

6. Repeated Late Cancellations

Consistent late cancellations or no-shows (three or more within a 60-day period) may result in loss of scheduling priority or termination of services at our discretion. We value your time and ask that you value ours.
